Guided Tours of Innisfree

Innisfree welcomes groups in the garden and can accommodate buses of any size. Groups may schedule a private guided tour given by our landscape curator or walk through the garden on their own for a self-guided tour. Both options take about 1.5 hours (not including arrival and departure activities), and groups of 12 or more must make reservations.

In-depth guided tours tell the story of Innisfree: the extraordinary garden, the people who created it, and the nonprofit that stewards this unique resource. For groups of 12 or more, the cost is $35 per person and includes admission to the garden. For smaller groups, there is a flat fee of $420.

Self-guided tours are $10 per person, $5 for seniors (65+) and children (ages 5-15), and free for young children (ages 4 and under).

While Innisfree has a picnic area that groups are welcome to use, tables are available on a first-come, first served basis. Guests are not allowed to reserve picnic tables.

Guided Tours of Innisfree

In addition to the private guided tours described above, Innisfree offers monthly guided tours open to the public. The cost for these public tours is $35 per person, and $25 for Innisfree members. Please take a look at our Events Calendar and make your reservations through our normal ticketing process.

Docent Tours

Beginning in June, docent-led introductory tours are available on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. (Saturdays only mid-October through close) and are included with your garden admission fee. They begin at the visitor kiosk in the parking area and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Read more here.
